NATIONAL LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE
CEO - Wade Kelly
Wade Kelly joined AFA in 2022, as the first professional executive in the sport since it's establishment.
​
Wade, a former professional rugby player with a career spanning Australia, England, Italy and the United States over 16 years, then returned to Australia, and then Europe to head up and reform some of the most prestigious Rugby Programs in the world.
​
Wade now overseas all aspects of the sport nationally.

National Coaching Director - Layke Rossiello
Layke Rossiello joins AFA in 2023 as the National Coaching Director.
​
With an extensive 18-year coaching career, during which he has held roles as Head Coach and Defensive Coach for men's, women's, and junior teams he heads up the development and implementation of the GA National Coaching Framework.
​
Layke is a Diploma qualified Educator with experience across multiple industries.

National Officials Director - Paul Taylor
Paul heads up the Australian Gridiron Officials Association (AGOA) as CEO.
​
As the CEO, Paul is responsible for implementing the Board's vision for AGOA. Paul has been in the CEO/President role since late 2017. His focus for this term is to improve the organisational governance and documentation as well as the visibility and transparency to the members.Paul has been officiating since 1998 and has been a full time official from 2012.
He is based in the ACT and regularly works in NSW. He enjoys working the Referee and deep wing positions.

National Commercial Director - Jason Moore
Jason and his company Global Sports Enterprises (GSE) head up AFA Commercial Partnerships for the next three years.
​
Jsson has garnered a reputation of being one of the most prominent sporting Commercial Agents in Australia
​
Whilst heading up Moore Sports for 23 years he was responsible for bringing the MLB season opener to Sydney.
​
GSE specialise in Broadcast Consulting, Capital & Investor Funds Raising, Government Relations and Procurement.
