AFA education plaN

Education is key to protecting the integrity of Australian sport. Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) and American Football Australia are committed to working together to mitigate and manage integrity threats to provide a safe and fair environment for participants at all levels of sport.

This Education Plan has been developed in partnership with SIA, who will support this plan through the provision of education resources and interventions as and where possible. It outlines the required and recommended education interventions for all members of American Football Australia to facilitate compliance with the National Integrity Framework policies, American Football Australia Anti-Doping Policy and the World Anti-Doping Code International Standard for Education (ISE).

ELEARNING COURSES - SIA EDGE

Education plays a critical role in protecting athletes and preventing integrity threats in Australian sport. SIA have made freely available a range of online learning modules covering grassroots to elite-level athletes, their parents, teachers, coaches, sport administration staff and support personnel.
The below list summarises the modules that form the AFA Education Plan, however the SIA EDGE platform contains a vast amount of additional useful eduction topics to support all participants within American Football.

You can get started with SIA eLearning by visiting https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/

As an American Football participant it's important to update your profile on the SIA Edge platform to list American Football as a sport against your profile. This makes for easy compliance reporting across the organisation. See attached a helpful guide on how to update this on your profile.
