AFA SEEKS APPLICATIONS FOR INDEPENDENT CHAIR - NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE

Following the adoption of the new American Football Australia (AFA) Constitution, the Board of American Football Australia (AFA) is inviting nominations for the position of Independent Chair of the newly established Nominations Committee.

This is an important governance appointment that will provide independent leadership to the Nominations Committee and support the Board in maintaining a transparent, merit-based and skills-focused approach to Board and committee appointments.

The Independent Chair will be responsible for leading the Committee in accordance with the AFA Constitution and the Committee Charter, facilitating objective and impartial decision-making, and ensuring the Committee fulfils its responsibilities.
