AFA U16 and U18 - Tackle Football Talent Identification NOW OPEN

American Football Australia is seeking standout U16 and U18 players who are ready to elevate their game! If you're ready to take your football journey to the next level, we want to hear from you. Participate in our targeted digital talent identification process. 

This is your pathway to opportunities beyond state competition, including selection for national programs and showcase events like our upcoming Festival of Football with a training camp in Australia and Game in New Zealand!

Current U16 and U18 age eligibility is as follows:

• U16 Division

  • Any athlete of 15 or 16 years on 31st December 2026 (born in 2010 or 2011)

• U18 Division

  • Any athlete of 17 or 18 years on 31st December 2026 (born in 2008 or 2009)

This is a calling to represent your nation on the international stage. We encourage every player who has the hunger, the heart, and the discipline to step up and submit their application. Do not let this opportunity pass you by - you don't want to be watching from the sidelines when the Green and Gold takes the field.

It is important to note that playing for your state in the upcoming junior national championships doesn't equate to a selection opportunity if you haven't submitted the digital talent ID application. Only players who submit the digital talent ID will be eligible for selection.
